Google Reader ab sofort ohne Shared Items und Social Features

Die angekündigte Amputation des Google Readers wurde vollzogen:

The ability to +1 a feed item (replacing “Like”), with an option to then share it with your circles on Google+ (replacing “Share” and “Share with Note”).

Integrating with Google+ also helps us streamline Reader overall. So starting today we’ll be turning off friending, following, shared items and comments in favor of similar Google+ functionality.

      Das Interface ist kompletter Murks. Der +1-Button sieht schon in der Web-Oberfläche vom GoogleReader komisch in der Leiste aus und sieht in der Mobil-Oberfläche aus, als wäre er dort reingetackert worden und würde jetzt von Panzertape zusammengehalten. MySpace-Feeling.

      Gibt doch sicherlich bereits ein Firefox- oder Chrome-AddOn, das das alte Interface wiederherstellt/simuliert? :)
